There has never been a point in time when people did not live in impoverished conditions. Standards may have changed, but poverty has always existed in some form. This exhibit will contain multiple artifacts that demonstrate the experiences of those who live in poverty in America. Through four different categories, a diverse range of elements show the power of money. These four categories are the American Revolution, the Great Depression, World War II, and "Today". We see through these time periods how poverty has affected the America now, and how it continues to shape our country.
